A VILLAGE FULL OF HISTORY AND TRADITIONS

Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a village that is likely to surprise you with its history and traditions. The village abounds in multiple architectural treasures with its decorated chapel in the south Mediterranean, its churches and alleys in the charm of old. It is this Provençal charm that makes Saint-Paul-de-Vence one of the most beautiful villages in France. Don't just look at pictures of the village, come and admire these wonders yourself! The ideal day? Enjoy lunch in the town centre of Saint-Paul-de-Vence and stroll around the heart of the old town all day long. The village itself will tell you its story.

Did you know that? In 1905, Saint-Paul de Vence produced 140 tons of May roses, 200 tons in 1913. These flowers were sent to Grasse to be distilled. The terraced crops were irrigated thanks to countless basins built on the top of the hillsides. Today, truffle oaks, aromatic plants and vines continue to decorate the terraced plots.
