Tourist Guide Camiers Sainte-Cécile

If you want to discover the destination and the activities before your stay, you should read these few lines ! 

Every year, the destination offers a wide range of activities for the whole family! Fitness classes on the beach, children's activities, beach volleyball competitions, beach library.... You won't forget your holiday!

The tourist office welcomes you from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm. You can contact them before your stay on 03.21.84.72.18.

Here the beaches will surprise you... Large wild and protected spaces where mother nature keeps her rights! 3 remarkable beaches over 3 kilometres of fine sand:

Saint Gabriel Beach: at the edge of the Bay of Canche
La Plage du Chemin des Bateaux: located at the level of the descent (to the south)
La Plage de Sainte Cécile: located at the end of the esplanade of Sainte Cécile (north)

Beach entertainment

From July, the beach club welcomes you on the beach of Sainte Cécile. Numerous activities, supervised by qualified activity leaders, will be offered to children aged 4 to 11 every afternoon from Monday to Sunday.

On the programme: Trampolines, sandcastles, various competitions and tournaments, bouncy castle, and not forgetting the Club's choreography.

Beach information:

The Chemin des Bateaux beach and the Sainte Cécile beach are supervised every day of the week in July and August from 12pm to 7pm. In June and September, weekends and public holidays from 12pm to 6pm. Supervision is carried out from the lifeguard's post, on a bathing area perfectly delimited between two blue flames. The coloured flames inform bathers about the surveillance conditions in the delimited sector:

Green flame: supervised bathing
Orange flame: supervised but dangerous bathing
Red flame: bathing prohibited
No flame: no surveillance, the lifeguard station is not open

Equipment The lifeguard station is equipped with a TIRALO (wheelchair allowing access to the sea with assistance) and a hippocampus (permanent wheelchair allowing access to the sea independently). This equipment is available on request during normal opening hours. WC and showers are available free of charge in the vicinity of the lifeguard station (other free public toilets at the entrance to the esplanade).

Animals are not allowed in the bathing area, with the exception of animals used to assist disabled persons. All animals, even if kept on a leash, are forbidden on the beach, in the supervised bathing area (between the two blue

The dune path of Sainte Cécile

The dunes of Sainte Cécile are open for walking. A loop is accessible either by the northern end of the Boulevard de Lille, or by the Boulevard de Sainte Cécile at the Avenue des Courlis. Information at the tourist office.

The dunes of Mont Saint Frieux

Located in Dannes, Mont Saint Frieux is made up of dunes set on a chalky hillock. The summit of Mont Saint Frieux reaches 152 metres and offers an exceptional view:

Ascent of the Mont: 3 hours

The Chablis trail: 2 hours

The Golden Apple Trail: 30 minutes

The circuit of the Fourrés: 30 minutes

The Dune Vive circuit: 1 hour

The Coastal Dune circuit: 2 hours

Baie de Canche Nature Reserve

The Rohart estate

Located to the north of the Bay of Canche, the Rohart estate is a preserved natural site of a dozen hectares inserted in the heart of a complex of remarkable natural spaces.
