Musée 39-45 is located in Ambleteuse, a few kilometres north of Boulogne-sur-Mer. The 800 m2 museum tells the story of the Second World War, from the invasion of Poland to the surrender of Japan.

The museum exhibits thousands of objects, including some very rare ones, and more than 120 soldiers, leading to poignant testimonies about the war. You can also view archive footage in a cinema of the 1940s and experience the Normandy landing and the liberation of Paris in the front row.
