The surroundings of Plopsaland De Panne

Plopsaland is situated in the southwest of Belgium, near Dunkirk, Bray-Dunes, Ostend and Veurne.

If you cross the French border, you can immerse yourself in the rich history of the small town of Dunkirk, which is of course famous for the Second World War. You can also choose to go for a walk on the beach or if you come in mid-February you can celebrate the Dunkirk carnival.

Bray-Dunes shares the history of Dunkirk with regard to the Second World War. But Bray-Dunes is known for something else, namely the nearby nature reserve with more than 300 plant species and many animal species.

For example, a rich nature full of orchids and reptiles can be found at Zuydcoote, less than 15 minutes from Plopsaland De Panne and Villa les Margats d'Evancy, La Brise des Dunes or Etoile des Dunes.

All in all, the north of the French Opal Coast is well worth a visit!

Plopsaqua La Panne

In addition to the amusement park, there is also a water park called Plopsaqua De Panne which is only 8 minutes walk from the park and is usually open from 9am to 9pm but sometimes also from 4pm to 8pm. You can find out the opening hours on the Plopsaqua website.

Plopsaqua De Panne has 16 slides, swimming pools and other different activities, enough for 4 hours of fun.

The Viking race is for all parents who want to get their child down on a slide. Do your children want something more exciting? Then you can also test the Sliding Tyres or the Sky Drop.

You can also let yourself be carried away by the currents of the rainforest for an adventurous swim. Or perhaps you prefer to float in the sun in an outdoor pool.
