FISHING ON THE OPAL COAST - AROUND BRAY-DUNES

The landscapes will satisfy both amateur and experienced fishermen all year round!

The fishing spots on the Opal Coast are numerous but the particularities of these spots are The long and flat sandy beaches. Surfcasting is the most popular technique on the beaches of the Dunes de Flandres but you can also find a carp pond nearby!

THE BEACH OF BRAY-DUNES, ACCESSIBLE ON FOOT FROM OUR RESIDENCES

Bray Dunes being a seaside resort, in summer (July-August) it is only possible to fish on the west side of the boat slope, at any time.
You are advised to fish at high tide in summer to catch bass, bream or flounder.

 
 

THE BEACH OF ZUYDCOOTE, 5KM FROM OUR RESIDENCES

This beach offers you the possibility of fishing all year round for flounder, whiting, eel, dab and sole!

THE MALO JETTY IN DUNKIRK, 15KM FROM OUR RESIDENCES

Type of fishing : Surfcasting
The jetty is located to the west of the pedestrian dike of Malo.
You can fish there in summer: flounder, plaice, sole, sea bass, eel and mullet and in winter: whiting, dab, flounder and some cod.
It is also a good place for fishing on foot: mussels, shrimps, crabs...
