Halloween in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage: thrills and magic

In Le Touquet, Halloween takes on the atmosphere of a fantasy tale. The seaside resort focuses on immersion and enchantment rather than sheer scares: a fancy-dress parade in the town centre, shows for the whole family, evening storytelling sessions and even a fancy-dress horse ride at the Parc Équestre. A programme designed to amaze as much as it does to entertain.

FAQ

When do the Halloween 2026 events take place on the Côte d’Opale?
Most events take place during the All Saints’ Day holidays, between mid-October and 2 November 2026, with the peak of events around 31 October.

Are the Halloween events free?
Many events are free, including exhibitions, treasure hunts and fancy dress balls organised by the towns! Some activities, such as Nausicaá, the treetop adventure course and horse riding, incur a charge.

What activities are there for young children?
Families with young children will enjoy the fantastic activities at the Château Comtal in Boulogne-sur-Mer, the children’s Halloween Party with face painting and a treasure hunt, or the family show ‘Mary Candies’ in Le Touquet.

Do you need to book in advance?
Some events, such as the night-time horse ride at the Parc Équestre du Touquet or small-group workshops, require prior registration. It’s advisable to check the details with each organiser.

Can you wear a fancy dress costume everywhere?
Yes, fancy dress is even encouraged at most events, and is sometimes compulsory (such as for the horse ride in Le Touquet). Remember to pack some warm clothes as well as your fancy dress, as October evenings can be chilly on the coast.

Where should you stay to make the most of Halloween on the Opal Coast?
To ensure you don’t miss out on any of the events taking place across Boulogne-sur-Mer, Le Touquet and the Dunkirk area, a central accommodation on the coast allows you to easily travel between the towns over a weekend or a week’s holiday.
